Our Journey

2017: Foundation

Tri-State Groundwater Solutions was established in Paterson, New Jersey, operating from a modest rented office and yard.

That same year, the company secured its first major dewatering project at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center expansion—setting the stage for future work on high-profile infrastructure projects including LaGuardia Airport and developments across the New York metropolitan area.

2018: Expanding Capabilities

The acquisition of a brand new Watson EX-90 drill rig marked a key step forward, enabling deep well installations and allowing the company to take on larger scale dewatering projects.

2020: Diversification

Tri-State reached a major milestone by completing its first large-scale grouting project for Metro-North Railroad in Port Chester, expanding its service offerings beyond dewatering.

2021: Strategic Growth

The company relocated its headquarters to Glen Rock, New Jersey, supporting continued expansion.

Significant investments in drilling equipment allowed entry into the micropile installation market, leading to projects with agencies such as New Jersey Transit, Port Authority, NYC DEP, MTA, NYS DOT and many other agencies.

2022: Evolution

Reflecting its expanded capabilities, the company rebranded as Tri-State Civil Construction (TSCC).

TSCC contributed to major developments at John F. Kennedy International Airport and played a role in the transformative East Side Access initiative.

The pile division continued to grow with successful transit and infrastructure projects throughout the region.

The fleet expanded with larger drilling equipment, and TSCC secured a major contract on the Van Wyck Expressway, performing drilled shafts, micropiles, and large-scale dewatering operations.

2024: Geographic Expansion

TSCC expanded beyond its core region with a major dewatering project inside the Howard Street Tunnel in Baltimore, MD in partnership with Skanska-Fay JV.

This project marked a key step in broadening the company’s geographic reach and reinforcing its ability to deliver on complex infrastructure work.
