Support of Excavation

Support of Excavation (SOE) can be used as temporary support as well as permanent support. The elements of an SOE system can vary greatly based on the intended use, ground conditions, existing site conditions and specific site restraints. Our designs can incorporate steel sheet piling, drilled H-piles, drilled pipe piles, driven piles, timber lagging, concrete lagging, tieback anchors, raker braces and concrete underpinning piers. The SOE system can also be placed “off-line” of the new construction, allowing for waterproofing and backfilling or it can be placed “on-line” where the SOE system can be used as a one sided form where the new construction is cast against the SOE.
